The chemical name of TBEC initiator is Tert-butyl (2-ethylhexyl) monoperoxy carbonate, which belongs to Class 5.2 dangerous goods and has the following properties: easy to explode and decompose; Rapid combustion; Sensitive to impact or friction; Dangerous reactions with other substances should be handled with caution.
TBEC initiators must be stored in a well ventilated area, kept at low temperature, protected from sunlight, and it is recommended to store at a temperature below 20 ℃.
TBEC initiator can cause combustion when exposed to heat and must be kept away from heat sources/sparks/open flames/hot surfaces—— Smoking is prohibited.
Keep away from reducing agents (such as amines), acids, alkalis, dirt, rust, and combustible materials; TBEC initiator products must not be mixed with accelerators, and must be added separately to the resin, otherwise there is a risk of explosion.
Keep the container closed and only store it in the original container. The remaining TBEC initiator cannot be returned to the original packaging barrel, but should be collected carefully.
When operating, it is necessary to wear protective gloves/protective clothing/protective goggles/protective masks.
First aid measures for TBEC initiator:
1. If inhaled by mistake: Move the victim to fresh air and rest in a comfortable breathing area. Seek medical attention.
2. If swallowed by mistake: Rinse your mouth and sip water with charcoal flakes one by one, without inducing vomiting. Seek medical attention.
3. If contaminated with skin (or hair): Immediately remove/remove all contaminated clothing and wash the skin/shower with water (soap water is recommended). Seek medical attention.
4. If entering the eyes: Rinse with plenty of water for at least 10-15 minutes (lifting the eyelids). If wearing contact lenses and making it easy to remove them, remove them and continue rinsing. Seek medical attention.
5. If on fire: When there is a small fire, spray dry powder or carbon dioxide to extinguish it, and spray water to prevent reignition; During a fire, maintain a safe distance of 10-15 meters to extinguish the fire and immediately notify the fire department to assist in extinguishing the fire.
