FAQ

Q: How can we guarantee quality?

A: Always a pre-production sample before mass production; Always final Inspection before shipment;

Q: How long is delivery time?

A: The delivery time will be determined according to the quantity of the order.

Q: You are a manufacture or a trading company?

A: We are truly a manufacture, can not only provide the high quality products with the best price, but also offer the best pre-sale service and after-service.

Q: Do you accept customization?

A: Of course, we have excellent technical team and can produce products according to customers’ different needs.

Q: Is benzophenone natural or synthetic?

A: Benzophenone occurs naturally in some foods (such as wine grapes and muscat grapes) and is added to other foods as a flavoring. In personal care products, benzophenone is used as a fragrance enhancer or to prevent products such as soaps from losing scents and colors in the presence of UV light.

Q: Is benzophenone the same as oxybenzone?

A: Benzophenone-3 (Oxybenzone) Benzophenone-3 (oxybenzone) is used in many sunscreens and some other personal care products to protect skin from sun damage. Benzophenone-3 is also added to packaging and some consumer products, such as cosmetics and paints, to protect the products from sun damage.

Q: How do you identify benzophenone?

A: Iodoform test – Methyl ketones give a positive iodoform test. Acetophenone is a methyl ketone, whereas benzophenone is a phenyl ketone. Therefore, acetophenone gives a positive iodoform test by giving a yellow precipitate of iodoform with an alkaline solution of iodine. Whereas, benzophenone gives a negative test.

Q: How does oxalyl chloride react with water?

A: Oxalyl chloride decomposes upon contact with water to produce toxic and corrosive fumes. When heated to decomposition, product emits toxic fumes.

Q: How do you dry oxalyl chloride?

A: The oxalic acid must be dry or the yield of oxalyl chloride is cut down to a minimum. Drying may be achieved in an oven at 110℃ for 6-8 hours, having the oxalic acid spread out in a thin layer. During the drying, the oxalic acid tends to cake and thus must be broken up in a mortar from time to time.

Q: How to store oxalyl chloride?

A: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Never allow product to get in contact with water during storage. Store under inert gas.
